Clearing the Sandstone Wall in Acton Lane, 14. April 2007

The old Cheshire Sandstone wall in Acton Lane had become very overgrown, so a party of volunteers came one Saturday morning to clear the brambles and generally tidy up the bank. The wooden seat is now a lot more welcoming to those trudging up the hill into the village!
