January 10th MAC CARDING The River Weaver, Yesterday & Today
A look at the River Weaver from its origins as a small stream, through its heyday for shipping to its use for leisure and pleasure craft today.

February 14th MIKE ROBERTS Wildlife of the Isle of Avalon
A look at the flora and fauna of the Isle of Avalon (an area of interesting are of marshland just west of Glastonbury) - birds are a key aspect of this illustrated talk which will also cover orchids, dragonflies, water voles and otters etc

March 14th GEOFF MEGGITT Winifred Brown, Britain's Adventure Girl No 1
The story of the daughter of a wealthy Manchester butcher who took up flying becoming the first and only woman to win the prestigious King's Cup Air Race round England. She later took up yacht cruising making epic voyages to Norway and Spitsbergen in the Arctic.

April 11th FRANCIS ILLING Fifteen Years of Vice
A talk covering the problem of i-phone porn and the current problem of children being "forced" into talking inappropriate photos of themselves and how WI members can help their children and grandchildren.

May 9th - Resolution Meeting, Social Supper to Follow (No speaker)

June 13th ROBIN HILL My Collection of Collections
A personal choice of objects, people and places from over thirty years working in museums

July 11th SUE ORD Graphology - The Secrets of Handwriting
A look at handwriting and discussion about the personality traits that it reveals.

September 12th NANETTE HUDSON
(Vale Royal Falconry) Owls
An introduction to some of the owls in the Vale Royal Falconry collection

October 10th KITTY SADLER
(Snugburys Ice Cream) Snugburys Ice Cream
A history of this family-run Cheshire company with some samples for tasting.

November 14th SUE MALLOWS AGM (7.00pm) followed by - Christmas Papercraft
A practical, hands-on session covering various simple seasonal papercraft projects

December 12th Christmas Party 6.30pm start
