Several villagers, not all of them WI Members, volunteered their Sunday afternoon to pick up litter from the station car park, and the lanes and hedgerows throughout Acton Bridge. We are entering the Best Kept Village competition again this year, and it seemed a good idea to get started before the hedges grew much more!

Starting off at the Parish Room Car Park (a couple of pickers had already started by the time the picture was taken!)
