Friday 11 November 10am Local Walk. Meet at the Parish Rooms car park. Let Margaret Williams know if you are able to join us (851788) - we don't want to go without you!

Sat 19 November 10am-12noon, 1-3pm Autumn Yarn Craft Event at WI House, Chester. Try adding a new skill to your repertoire! £5 per session. Details from Valerie (854144)

Weds 7 December 11am CFWI Carol Service in Chester Cathedral. Traditional service, celebrating the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible. Book your place through Valerie (854144)

Tues 13 December 6.00 for 6.30pm Don't forget our WI Christmas Party! Book your place early !! (our successful fund-raising means it's still free!)

Fri 16 December 7.30pm Distaff Singers' Annual Christmas Concert. Music, readings and poetry under their new conductor in aid of CLIC Sargent cancer care. Tickets £7, including a glass of wine in the interval, from Caroline (852406)

Sat 4 February 2012 7.45pm Theatre in Acton Bridge! Leeds Library Theatre's Touring company presents "Happy Jack" by John Godber. In the Parish Rooms. Tickets £10 from Jane (853129) and Veronica (853226). Tickets limited - book early! [More details on the ABCA home page]

Weds 30 May All day National AGM. Held at the Royal Albert Hall, London. For observers tickets, send £17 + 40p postage (make cheques payable to CFWI), with your name, self addressed A5 envelope (no stamp) and details of your WI (ie Acton Bridge!) to CFWI House in Chester.

Thurs 23 - Sun 26 Aug Cheshire at Denman College. Courses this year include: Gardens of Oxford, Triptych of Techniques, Ramble & Cruise the Thames, the Really Useful Computer Course, Girls in Harmony and Edible Gifts.
