Acton Bridge village has adopted the station, and volunteers meet on the first Saturday of every month from 10.00am - 12.00 noon to tidy the station gardens and the car park. Here's an article from the Northwich Guardian of 6. June, written by Hayley Collins:

We are looking for more volunteers to give us a hand. Our aim is to win the 'best kept station' like Helsby and Frodsham. If you are interested in helping us, please come along on any first Saturday in the month to meet us and join in the fun. No experience needed just enthusiasm.
