Several villagers, not all of them WI Members, volunteered on Saturday morning to tidy up the flower beds and control weeds. We also cleared a lot of accumulated rubbish and vegetation from the car park on Station Road. We are entering the Best Kept Village competition again this year, so it's all in a good cause!

Central Trains have kindly offered to provide additional equipment and materials for the volunteers.
