Update 20. May 2009 :

Acton Bridge Community Association has installed three planters at the entrances to the village. They were supplied by Vale Royal Borough Council, under a Licence from Cheshire County Council. The plants were bought using a grant from Cheshire Year of Gardens, and the gardening is being maintained by volunteers from the village, as the seasons change.
